See all × 31/08/2022 Review of cancer supportive care medicines The Ministry of Health’s Drug Advisory Committee has reviewed the available clinical evidence for cancer supportive care medicines routinely used in public healthcare institutions to update the MOH List of Subsidised Drugs in line with local clinical practice. The following medicines have been recommended for inclusion on the MOH Standard Drug List (SDL) or Medication Assistance Fund (MAF) in line with their registered indications or specific clinical criteria for cancer supportive care, in view of clinical need and acceptable clinical and cost-effectiveness: Aprepitant 125 mg and 80 mg tri-pack capsules; Cetirizine 10 mg tablet; Denosumab 60 mg/mL prefilled syringe; Denosumab 120 mg/1.7 mL solution for injection; Epoetin alfa 10,000 international units/mL and 40,000 international units/mL prefilled syringes; Epoetin beta 10,000 international units/0.6 mL and 30,000 international units/0.6 mL prefilled syringes; Folic acid 400 mcg tablet; Granisetron 1 mg tablet; Granisetron 1 mg/mL and 3 mg/3 mL solution for injection; Ketamine 500 mg/10 mL solution for injection; Montelukast 10 mg tablet; Oxycodone 5 mg and 10 mg capsules; Posaconazole 100 mg delayed-release tablet; Pegfilgrastim biosimilar (Fulphila) 6 mg/0.6 mL prefilled syringe; Pregabalin 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg and 300 mg capsules; Ranitidine 150 mg tablet; and Voriconazole 50 mg and 200 mg tablets. NRMedicines that have not been recommended for subsidy due to unacceptable cost-effectiveness are listed in the Annex. The clinical indications, subsidy class and subsidy implementation dates (if applicable) for all medicines included in the review are provided in the Annex.
